Pilot Training Programme of Green Skills for Hydrogen Project

The first Hydrogen Mobility reskilling and upskilling training in Bulgaria is organized by the “Acad. Evgeni Budevski” Institute of Electrochemistry and Energy Systems at BAS (IEES-BAS) with support of the HITMOBIL Centre of Competence and ISTD-Trakia University.
Hydrogen Mobility training is addressed to Bulgarian professionals: engineers, technical and administrative staff, managers, decision makers who work in the sector of commercial cargo transportation the sector of public transport and transport administration.
The Hydrogen Mobility programme provides:
THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE on:
- Basics of hydrogen economy
- Hydrogen as an energy vector
- Hydrogen technologies for green energy
- Hydrogen safety issues
- Hydrogen initiatives and regulatory framework in the EU and Bulgaria
PRACTICAL TRAINING at the research and innovation facilities of IEES-BAS and CoC HITMOBIL infrastructure including the first in the region hydrogen refueling station and hydrogen car
- Production of green hydrogen in an electrolyser
- Operation of a hydrogen refueling station
- Refueling a hydrogen car
- Test drive of a hydrogen car
- Monitoring and control systems for production and storage of energy from RES
- Hydrogen research infrastructure
The programme will run daily from 9:00 to 14:45.

The working language of the course is Bulgarian.
A certificate of attendance will be provided to all participants who successfully complete the programme with an interview.
The training is free of charge.

Please note that the number of participants is limited to 40 people and places are reserved on a first come first served basis.
Accommodation, transport and meals are participant’s own responsibility. Refreshments (coffee, tea and water) and light snacks will be provided during the breaks between lectures.
